Sharon Scott

Sharon V. Scott RN, RM, DPSM, BSC (Hons)

'Fearfully and wonderfully made' (Psalm 139 verse 14) is the description of the human body in the Holy Writ; and having spent many years caring for and teaching about this 'masterpiece' of design, I wholeheartedly agree with this Divinely inspired quote.

In her career as a Registered Nurse and Midwife Sharon has worked in a busy inner-city hospital where she had the privilege of caring for people from a diversity of cultures, beliefs, faiths, socio-economic and educational backgrounds. In the last few years she has worked as a lecturer; this gave her the opportunity to utilise the wealth of knowledge that she acquired from her nursing, midwifery and personal experiences.

Her desire is to continue to share her knowledge and skills with colleagues, pregnant women and their families and also those who are aspiring to join the future generation of nurses and/or midwives.
